Live view of the scale. Draw the scale zone. Camera speeds auto-start; weight still blocks a full box.

Live view + scale zone

Tap the image to drop polygon points around the scale platform. Detection only looks inside this area. Clear and redraw if the camera gets bumped.

Detection Test

Put an empty scale, tap Capture Empty. Then put a container on, tap Capture With Container. See the pixel difference.

Off = weight-only auto-start, same as today. The run page still shows the camera panel.

When on, a detected box starts the dwell immediately. Weight still refuses a full container.

Usually 0. Raise this if another USB video device is plugged in first.

Percent of pad

How much of the outlined scale pad must change to count as a container. 40% is the usual starting point. Lower = more sensitive.

How different a pixel must be from the empty-scale baseline.

Camera FPS

5 is plenty. Higher uses more CPU on the Pi.

Weight gate tolerance

If live weight is more than this many pounds above the empty-container tare, auto-start refuses and shows REMOVE FULL CONTAINER.

Saves only the camera section. Does not touch scale filter or job settings.
